The city park is connected with historic walls and a gruesome past, the Reckturm. This dates from the second half of the 13th century and served not only as a fortification, but also as a prison for a while. The historic park is characterized by large, old trees.

I passed by here as part of a night hike. I find the play of light around the tower looks even better at night. By the way, a night hike can also be combined with a visit to the restaurant in the castle!
