The Catholic parish church of St. Wendelinus, along with the former rectory and school, is located on a hill between Wirftbach and Trierbach. The church was built in the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, it was closed.

The Catholic parish church of St. Wendelinus in Kirmutscheid, a district of the municipality of Wirft in the Ahrweiler district of Rhineland-Palatinate, was built in the Middle Ages. Mountain biking

The current church dates predominantly from the 15th century. The valuable ceiling paintings were restored in 1971. The bells, cast in the years 1489, 1490, and 1519, are also a treasure of the church. On the south side of the tower, there is a two-part pointed arch window with tracery. Next to the baroque altar (17th century) are wooden sculptures of John the Baptist and St. Wendelin from the 17th century.
