Einsiedel is a hamlet belonging to the municipality of Hafenlohr in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart. Einsiedel was built in 1275 as the provostship of the Neustadt monastery. In 1483 it was converted into a monastery farm. After Einsiedel passed to the princely house of Löwenstein, a glass factory was set up there. Since 1977, the princely forestry office of the Löwenstein wildlife park has been located here.
