".A few days later the Höger railway attendant was also terrified. Because suddenly a small figure appeared next to him like a shadow during his patrol and strode along next to him. The same happened to him over the next few days. The news of the "Bahnmandl" spread like wildfire throughout the Aign. Soon nobody dared to go to the embankment in the evening. Ferl Hans from Dörfl did not want to believe the ghost and every weekend hiked the way along the embankment to the host and back again. Until one day a little Mandl accompanied him silently on the way from Dörfl to Hög. When he reported about it in a bewildered manner in the pub, no one doubted the story any more.
