The Salamander valley near Eckersdorf is just too beautiful to simply roar through with my bike, that's why I always make a few stops to enjoy the idyllic valley at any time. Again and again I like to cross this small gorge which is strictly a listed building. This "hiking trail" is 2.5 km long, with a small stream and an exposed spring. Unfortunately, I haven't seen a salamander here yet Feu although fire salamanders are said to be common here.
