At the 613 meter high "Dom" with its lower and upper rock labyrinth, a bizarre rock formation is called "Johannesburg". What the name is based on is no longer known, but the rock arrangement with its caves and towers is reminiscent of an enchanted castle. The NaturFreunde Pommelsbrunn brought the information board with "Wanderer's Night Song" by Johann Wolfgang v. Goethe at the "Johannesburg". "There is peace over all the peaks, in all the treetops you hardly feel a breath; The little birds are silent in the forest! Just wait, soon you will rest too".

In the back of the forest is a stone formation. A wooden sign with a slogan was hung up by the Alpine Club.

Impressive, huge stones with, I think, a celebratory mood.
