The route should lead left through the castle grounds, but where is the path? Right then the street in and a little later looked over the fence - further down then still the main gate where private reason stands on it. OK well then not back and a trail through the forest ... but in the end is again private grounds ... but not the trail on the beach!
The castle stands on a promontory of the Pfarrkogel west of the village and is surrounded by a large park. The horseshoe-shaped, two-storey complex is open to the west. From the first castle of the 12th century, above all, the high keep in the northwest is preserved. In the late Baroque, the building, which was in the core of the medieval building, was given a new façade.
