The Alfsee is a nice destination for a long walk. From the parking lot in the north, it's just under eight kilometers around the lake. Wonderful quiet, almost no traffic noise, except from the north-west railway every now and then. Not lonely enough for me in summer, but just wonderful outside of the season.
