The mountain lake in the Dammer Mountains is a popular destination for young and old. It is easy to circle around four kilometers. There are some shelters and viewing platforms as well as rubbish bins here. There is a playground for children in the lower part of the dam. If you take your time, you can see many species of birds. In the very early hours of the morning on the back side (Bexaddetal) we have seen an eagle owl several times.
