Hiking

The city has had a railway connection on the Chemnitz–Aue railway line since November 15, 1875. From September 2018 to January 2022, rail service was suspended due to construction work to integrate it into the Chemnitz Model regional light rail system. Since its reopening, the station has been served by lines C13 (Burgstädt – Chemnitz – Thalheim – Aue) and C14 (Mittweida – Chemnitz – Thalheim), providing a half-hourly connection to Chemnitz and an hourly connection to Burgstädt, Mittweida, and Aue.
