The manor was originally built in a square shape, around a courtyard. It was renovated several times, until it was completely demolished in 1873, except for the 17th-century gatehouses. In 1874, the former gatehouse was renovated as it exists today. Baroness Creutz, born damsel Van Suchtelen van de Haare, had the building restored in the years 1927/1928. It lies within a double canal system and is surrounded by gardens. Princess Armgard zur Lippe-Biesterfeld kept some horses there with Pantchoulidzew. Queen Juliana's four children came to stay there regularly, and Pantchoulidzew taught them to ride a horse.
