This basilica has a very particular architecture. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, it combines concrete and a "Romano-Byzantine" style. It was built in honor of a local saint, Germaine. There are many explanatory panels in the village.

You should also not forget to visit the fountain of Saint Germaine on the path which begins in front of the basilica.
Well marked trail which partly follows the GR 65....
Pleasant walk in perspective... Especially when the weather is nice...
