Rosenthal was until the formation of Greater Berlin in 1920, an independent Gutsbezirk and a rural community in the north of Berlin. The village was first mentioned in 1356 as Rosendalle.

With the incorporation of the larger part (Rosenthal rural community, district west of the Liebenwalder train and district Rosenthal I - Wilhelmsruh - with 4332 inhabitants) the new district Reinickendorf assigned. The smaller part (Rosenthal rural community with about 1864 inhabitants, district east of the Liebenwalder railway with about 1725 inhabitants and Rosenthal Gutsbezirk with 129 inhabitants) came as a district of Berlin-Rosenthal to the new district Pankow.

Small, lovingly designed garden museum with relics from earlier Berlin railway years. It is located right next to the Wall Cycle Path. At this point you can still see where the death strip ran

That's what I call a fan. The entire front yard is completely covered with railway items. Very interesting to look at.
