Very nice and fine restaurant with great views. The gondola rides as long as the restaurant opens. It is not the cheapest restaurant, but also super fine, comfortable and nice and therefore highly recommended.

Hiking

Nice tour by bike or on foot from Hergiswil. There is also a train (for a fee) to Alp Gschwänd. The food in the restaurant along with the train ride is a bit expensive but excellent. It is not an insider tip so reserve in advance.
