Once you reach the upper limit of the forest, the road becomes dirt, the bottom is a bit bumpy but still appreciable. A fantastic stretch to cover both with gravel bikes and with mtb.

This segment will take you from Collepino to the top of Mt Subasio through a stunning scenery road. The first section is rather steep but it's on tarmac (not the best one though), after reaching the forest upper limit the road turns into gravel all the way to the top, kind of the chunky one but still very enjoyable. Great segment for gravel riders and mountain bikers.
