Devil's Bridge plays an essential role in Welsh/British crime series "Hinterland" ("Inspector Mathias - Mord in Wales in German")! A must see for every DCI Mathias fan!

Devil's Bridge has long been one of the leading tourist highlight in this part of Wales. There are two walks for which you can pay an entrance fee to complete. The short one costs £1 (you need a coin for the turnstile) and the longer one £3.75 (in 2017). The short walk takes you to the Punch Bowl, allowing you to see the waterfall and also the three bridges on top of each other of Devil's Bridge itself. The longer walk takes about an hour and includes the waterfalls, the three bridges and a nature trail. Be prepared on this walk for a total of around 600 steps up and down.

Be prepared for the steep descent down Jacobs Ladder over a hundred steep steps down a very steep angle down. Then followed by and equally steep return, don’t race back up, take your time and don’t be afraid to go slow, this is in total 600 steps down and the same back up, it is a very steep and narrow gorge, giving breathtaking views, just remember to keep breathing and stay calm!
