Kamień Kotarwicki is an erratic boulder from central Sweden. The natural monument is a granitoid rich in quartz, light cream in color with an oval-crystalline structure. It is a remnant of the Middle Polish glaciation of the Odra River, which took place in the Pleistocene, about 300-230 thousand. years ago. This boulder is very closely related to the Kotarwice region and the first mentions of it can be found in mortgage books from 1836. There are several legends related to Kamień Kotarvicki, which you can read about on one of the boards at the nature monument. One of them tells that Christ, while wandering the Earth as a poor pilgrim, left a mark of his foot on a rock.
The place is very well marked and developed. Next to it, there are boards with information about the nature monument and a description of the boulder along with the related legends. Access is possible from the provincial road DW744 - in Mazowszany, turn into the street marked as access to Kotarwice 66A-66B.
