On the other hand, to give many plant and animal species a permanent home again. At the same time, migratory fish are given the opportunity at three different points to bypass the Bergheim weir in a natural flowing water. This is the largest contiguous alluvial forest area in Central Europe and the associated meadow institute is located in the Grünau hunting lodge.
