Coming from Besenfeld, the first third to the sawmill is a long descent with a moderate gradient. Unfortunately, the surface there is full of patches, a few small potholes and unpleasant grooves running parallel to the route, which you should be a little careful about when cornering.

After that, the road is wonderfully smooth and runs on a flat surface (up to the Nagoldtalsperre, but also on to Altensteig). Nothing should stand in the way of an average speed of >30 🤫
