The cave is not a natural cave, it was created by sandstone mining on the northwestern edge of the Harly. Today a protected bat roost.

These caves are what make the Harz Mountains a magical and interesting place, especially for children. Around the closed cave entrance you can see an interesting coloring of the rock.
Somewhat hidden, unfortunately no signpost and the cave is really small.
