On Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße, which runs through the town, the imposing old town hall from 1898/99 undoubtedly catches the eye.
A school was founded in Ueberau in 1718. The "Delp'sche Haus" was Ueberau's first schoolhouse. The ever-increasing number of students prompted the community to build the massive brick building that still stands today in 1898 and 1899. It housed two classrooms, two teachers' apartments, and rooms for the town hall. It is still used as an elementary school today. 🚴♀️
