As a cultural monument?!? To call the whole thing, well, it can be argued about. But you should have seen it. But then also the Richtsberg. This is also a real Marburg "natural monument"

Actually, you can't argue about it. It is actually on the list of monuments, which was created on the basis of the Monument Protection Act of September 5, 1986. Thus, the district heating plant is also a cultural monument. The Richtsberg, however, does not. ;-)

This district heating plant was built between 1968 and 1972. Okay, it's not particularly pretty. However, the tower on the Lahnberge is visible from many parts of the district. Therefore it belongs to Marburg just because of the presence it has.
