The “Am Hohnekopf” ski hut is often used by groups of children and young people from the youth clubs run by the Wernigerode youth organization for weekend free time.
It can also be used by other school, child or youth groups. For this purpose, a usage contract is concluded with the city youth welfare office.
From the ski hut you can start hiking to nearby destinations in the Harz Mountains, climbing, tobogganing and skiing, spend romantic evenings around the campfire, have fun and, above all, experience and enjoy nature in the forest.
