Here there is the Salzländer Kulturstempel No. 27.
The 16 m high and 12 m wide sculpture stands directly on the Elbe. The foundation is a pan salt crystal, as it once was in the Siedepfannen. The structure is a replica of the framework of the old Salzspeicher, some of which have been preserved in Schönebeck. Triangular elements refer to the three closely related to the salt districts Bad Salzelmen, Frohse and Schönebeck. The sails are reminiscent of the sailing ship traffic on the Elbe and the wings of seagulls.

The salt flower in Schönebeck, the unmistakable landmark on the banks of the Elbe. The work of art, the salt flower, forged from iron and stainless steel is 16 meters high, 12 meters wide and weighs an impressive 25 tons.
The architecture represents the relationship to the tradition of salt production and the salt trade in Schönebeck.
The work of art was designed in 1997 by the Danish artist Anders Nyborg on behalf of the Elbufer Förderverein, and symbolizes a pan salt crystal
