The village church of Falkenberg is a rectangular hall building, capped to the west by a tower designed as a crossbeam. To the east, a semicircular apse adjoins the Romanesque building from the first half of the 13th century. The western crossbeam was rebuilt in the 18th century with a charming half-timbered structure.

Inside, extensive remains of medieval wall paintings have been preserved on the walls. Among the remarkable furnishings are the 17th-century wooden altar, the wooden pulpit, and the galleries.
