This somewhat bumpy but very scenic bike path between Hehler Feld (Windmill Veltheim/ Stolzen Mühle) and the gravel pits connects Eisbergen with Veltheim. It is part of the Weser cycle path. The gravel road on this section of the route, which annoys some cyclists, also has a positive side effect: It's nice and quiet here because there is (almost) no illegal motor vehicle traffic.

Meanwhile (since the beginning of 2025), the bumpy track that has been infamous for years is finally a thing of the past. Now, this beautiful section of the Weser Cycle Route is also paved throughout and has a nice, wide surface. 😊🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️🍀
