If you drive in a south-west direction to Ochtmannsbruch on a well-paved road, you need good nerves and good material from the end of the village in order to survive the 400-meter-long stretch of very coarse cobblestone. It is difficult to avoid this on the edge. If it were at least round cobblestones, but it is probably a historical road construction technique and the rest of Napoleon's military road. In between, it is making good progress on a wide dirt road until you come back to around 100 meters of cobblestone shortly before Heidenau. A challenge even for well-damped touring bikes.
