The Severn Bridge makes an epic crossing of the Bristol Channel from England into South Wales. The bridge is 5,240 feet (1,600 m) long and its towers rise to 445 feet (136 m). The bridge was opened on September 8, 1966, by Queen Elizabeth II and became Grade I-listed in 1999. From this vantage point, you get a wonderful view over the bridge.
