Built around 1st century, Dun Carloway is an exceptionally well-preserved broch in Carloway district. The broch was used during the Kingdom of the Isles as a stronghold. In the 16th century, the broch was mostly destroyed.
Today, you can visit the broch and learn more about its history at the visitor centre.

Well-preserved Iron Age tower. There is a very small visitor center, packed with information and souvenirs.
