Also known as the Ridge Road, this road offers some absolutely fantastic views looking north over parts of Sussex, Surrey and Kent, from the Ashdown Forest. It's quite several kilometres long and a generally comfortable gradient, with the highest end to the west, so views can be enjoyed in both directions - perhaps slightly better travelling from west to east due to the topography, vegetation and road alignment (and the fact that you'll be travelling on the left lane, closer to the road edge).
