Easy to access, by bike for my part. Not very far from the main road. A beautiful waterfall especially in spring with a retention basin at its base

Faymont Waterfall is a charming waterfall located in a hiking environment. A nine-kilometer circuit with a 250-meter elevation gain can be reached from Remiremont. Otherwise, the waterfall is easily accessible from Faymont.

Hiking

The Faymont waterfall is located near Le Val-d’Ajol in the Vosges. The Dréhart stream plunges around 20 meters in several cascades through a wooded granite area. The lowest fall, 2.5 meters high, flows into a small basin that formerly served as a water reservoir for a sawmill. The Cascade de Faymont has been a nature reserve since 1910.
