"This is where the 21-year-old Polish forced laborer Wladislaw Kaczmarek was executed on April 9, 1942 by members of the SS and the Gestapo from Frankfurt on a mobile gallows" - this is written on a commemorative plaque in the "Am Altenberg" forest not far from Königsberg. This plaque, attached to a tree stump, was installed there at the instigation of the Hohenahr local history and culture association with its chairman Jürgen Brück and the efforts of member Gustav Tröll. The Lahn-Dill-Bergland association paid for the table.
