Mountain biking

The front part of the ice cellar is accessible until you stand in front of a grid. This ice cave dates from the previous century, a time when there were no refrigerators. It was dug in 1939 by a Strafbatallion further into the mountain. The ice was taken from a nearby pond or meadow river and stacked in the beer barrels to have cold beer in August. That either had to be completed well in the cellar or was constantly well guarded ...
