These are many rectangular concrete foundations, formerly in severely sealed off cleared terrain (from 1953) for ammunition corrugated iron huts of the French occupying army. The beautiful forest that we see today has regrown since the military left in the 1970s. It is a secluded quiet place where one can imagine, with a little imagination, walking around and discovering the often hidden foundations, which used to be a military giant.
