Black Hill is perhaps the Ashdown Forest’s second most famous hill climb, behind Kidd’s Hill (aka The Wall) and it’s very different. Black Hill isn’t steep, it just goes on... and on... and on. Rewarding views to the south as you reach the car park at the top, where there is usually an ice cream van, even in the middle of winter!
