It is the northernmost and lowest peak of the three that make up the Peñas de Aia granite massif, on the border between the provinces of Guipúzcoa and Navarra. Since it is visible from the sea, it is said that large bonfires have been lit there to guide the fishermen in this area of the Cantabrian Sea.

I think there's a problem with the summit's location. The photo doesn't correspond to the summit of Belate because your description is more accurate for the Tre Corrodes massif, whereas we're in Belate National Park.
So the photo doesn't match the summit we climbed at all.
