Starting at Werk (fort / reinforcement) on the Buurtsteeg over the Slaperdijk to Werk Daatselaar, after which over the Groeperkade back to the line. On the way on the last stretch of the Groeperkade you will cross Werk aan de Engelaar. In contrast to the Groeperkade, the Slaperdijk is not originally a military defense work, but an older flood defense. For inundation, the water was let in at the sleeper dike and stopped at the Groeperkade.
