Where today there is only an abandoned cemetery, the neo-Gothic church of St. John the Baptist stood until 1956. It served as a place of worship for around 700 residents of the community until the end of World War II. However, in the course of the post-war period they were asked to leave their home on the border and the stone church built in 1912 was destroyed along with a number of border villages.

A now overgrown heap of rubble together with a wooden cross and a plaque reminds of the location of the former church.
