A local history museum in Mannersdorf was first opened on December 8, 1935, as the "Dr. Karl Wessely local and school museum". The museum was considered one of the largest and richest in the district of Bruck a.d. Leitha, but was completely destroyed in World War II. Since it was still possible to recover archaeological finds that one wanted to present in public, the Museum Association Mannerdorf was founded in 1969. As a suitable museum building offered the former Schüttkasten the rule Scharfeneck, in which the museum was opened on 26 October 1979. Remodeling 1997.

The museum contains the following departments: archeology, stonemasonry, minerals and fossils of the Leitha Mountains, folklore and urban history

Opening hours: May - October, Sunday 10:00 to 12:00
