At the edge of the forest south of Siegertsbrunn, the fear chapel was built in the 19th century. It is probably the foundation of a hunter because he got out of a storm unharmed. The chapel was destroyed by a severe hurricane in 1936 and rebuilt in 1986 at its present location. A Marterl reminds of the old location.

Stone plaque inside: "Not far from here stood the old Fear Chapel. It was destroyed on July 27, 1936 by a terrible storm. In 1986, the 'Friends of the Fear Chapel', consisting of Siegertsbrunn citizens, built the new Fear Chapel here as a community effort."

The Chapel of Fear was built on the edge of the forest south of Siegertsbrunn in the 19th century. It was presumably donated by a hunter who escaped a storm unscathed.
