The Long Drag is a private track linking Whitley Chapel with Spartylea in upper Allendale, constructed to facilitate access to Lord Allendale's grouse moors.

Road cycling
Long Drag is a beautiful hard gravel road. The northernmost part of it is unfortunately closed to the public and that is where this highlight ends. You can go in several other directions from there.
