Belvoir Castle is a historic fortress and stately home. It was built immediately after the Norman Conquest of 1066 but has been rebuilt three times since. The castle sits in extensive grounds and beautiful gardens, which are mostly early 19th century but incorporate 17th-century elements. The castle and grounds are open to the public.

If visiting the grounds (around 20k acres). There are some lovely longer walks. Sturdy shoes recommended. Head for the frogs hollow. 1 to 2 hours and some exquisite views.
