After the extension, conversion and renovation, an ostrich tavern "Zum Wilden Mann" was opened in the mill. In 1971 the mill was stopped, and since 1983 a turbine has been generating electricity. The building was later converted into a hotel and restaurant, which was opened in 1989 under the name "Sägmühle".
