Unfortunately the drinking water tower is no longer in operation; supposedly pressure increases are cheaper. The water tower, however, is a simple technique: pump up water, if cheap, and then use the natural gradient. You do that in most municipalities when you have higher parts of the municipality. You only need 1 controller and a pump that could be operated with 1 generator in the event of a power failure. In addition, there was an extinguishing water reserve, for which an additional cistern was required. The ancients knew what they were doing.
