    WHAT IS THE VOLPELLERES FOREST?

The Volpelleres forest is a century-old forest located north of Sant Cugat del Vallès. By the turn of the century it was already an oasis surrounded by fields.

The forest (or circuit) of Volpelleres, which is next to the station of Volpelleres (FFGG) is a little big unknown, the residents of the surrounding neighborhoods (Coll Favà, Center and Volpelleres) we usually enjoy, but the rest of the city also enjoys the benefits of this lung located next to the B-30, one of the biggest sources of pollution we have.

In summer it is less hot, in winter it is less cold. Old and young come to walk, run, unwind, walk dogs and set up huts.

The forest gives us a lot and asks us very little in return. It is a treasure that must be preserved, it is the heritage of Sant Cugat, as is the mine of the monks that is hidden among the vegetation.
