Häg-Ehrsberg lies at 540 to 1192 m above sea level. NN [2] Height in the Angenbachtal, a side valley of the Wiesental in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. The Angenbach arises in the district of Happach through the confluence of smaller source streams, then runs in a south-westerly direction through the entire district and flows into the meadow in the neighboring village of Mambach. Häg-Ehrsberg, because it belongs to a side valley, is sometimes counted as part of the Upper Wiesental (also known as the Hinteres Wiesental), which is a landscape designation that extends beyond the river valley and the entire catchment area of the upper meadow, from the source to Zell in the Wiesental is enough.
