Due to the proximity to the Erzgebirge ridge, you can feel a low mountain range here, in which the curve road winds its way down from the 507 m Augustusberg to the valley of the Furthe. I had the curve road to myself, it was probably also due to the stop of entry for tourists to the Czech Republic. The road drives well, because the asphalt of the road is a dream.

A very nice, calm and even climb to the upper junction. There it gets a little steeper for a moment. A wonderful section of the route and at the end there is also a pretty nice view. A little highlight for a tour. Definitely drive. It's worth it.
Many thanks to Wolfram Hubert from Komoot's bicycle department for the great tip!

Absolute recommendation - very little traffic with a great view. Decent surface and a very relaxed pedaling uphill, a sensible alternative away from the main roads over to Hellendorf/Markersbach
