Beautiful path on a bend in the Moselle, between the vines on one side and the river and the view of the vineyards opposite. A little further downriver you can see the slate cliffs of the Moselle oreley protruding from the Moselle. Across the bridge, it is worth visiting the rococo church of St. Michael and a late Roman wine press.
The nets around some of the vineyards are also used to prevent swans (and perhaps also hikers and cyclists) from harvesting the grapes that many others would rather find in a bottle later.
