Tips
Crossing from the Ötztal to the Fundustal, impressive natural landscape. Sturdy shoes recommended. Poles in your backpack, hands should be free as you do have to do a bit of climbing. Not great with a dog - but it's possible as a team :-).

Transition from Ötztal into Fundustal with a view of the landslide that characterizes the Ötztal in this area. The ascent from Köfels is steep and steady. It's best to start early, as the sun heats the slope well in good weather.
