The wood ox is covered with 22,000 wooden shingles and represents the region’s flagship product, the ALMO alpine ox. In summer, over 3,500 oxen graze on the 125 alpine pastures in the nature park, which provide the particularly high-quality meat for the ALMO Almochse brand. The ambassadors of the brand are our ALMO gourmet hosts, who process the meat into delicious dishes.
